We begin our next adventure in SAT vocabulary! Assessment is in three weeks.
Students took their assessment today. Below is the reading comp #5 assignment, due on Tuesday after the three-day-weekend.
In groups, students read the below article and answered the attached questions.
Students completed the vocab worksheet for this set of words. The assessment is on Friday!
Students wrote a paragraph, following paragraph structure, explaining the women's struggle in the 1800s, using evidence from the binder.
We took notes on 21-30!
That means the assessment is THIS Friday.

Based on what we have learned about life in the 1800s for women especially, we are going to examine the differences men and women have in their approach toward morality.
Using a graphic organizer, we noted the different ways women were treated and often felt toward their husbands during the 1800s, based on the three articles/stories we read. This will be the base for our tuesday writing next week.
While revising the behaviors of women from "The Yellow Wallpaper," students read "Story of an Hour" and answered subsequent questions.
Today we took notes on 11-20.
