Our final 10 SAT Vocab notes before the assessment.
The assessment on the last 30 words (original powerpoint from 9/11) will be THIS Friday, Sept. 29
Students peer reviewed their paragraphs from yesterday, and revised using those suggestions.
Students returned to their life is/is not fair chart from yesterday, and wrote a body paragraph using the evidence from the chart.
Students revisited yesterday's article and highlighted examples of what is fair or not fair. Then, they were paraphrased in two column notes.
We read the article "Life Isn't Fair" and discussed. This is a first read, so we kept things very general, and comprehension based. Students also answered the questions that followed.
Using the powerpoint from 9/11, students took notes on vocab 11-20.
The vocab packet is due on Wednesday.
