Students reviewed notes and vocabulary/root words for the scantron portion of the final.
Students were given the opportunity to fill out a notecard to use to assist them on final exam day.
Today, we spent time looking over the article for the written portion of the final.
Students had the chance to highlight, and take notes on the article based on the writing prompt. (see picture)

Today is the final SAT assessment for the semester.
Students were also assigned the usual reading comp packet.
Today the Issues in the Media project was introduced.
After spending a few weeks understanding the different ways in which the media can influence, students are selecting one issue, conducting research, and writing a call to action to bring attention to the issue.
Frogs are nice.
