Today we started a packet on Mind Mapping. Not only did we discuss the format for mind maps, but the packet focuses solely on training yourself to use only pictures/symbols instead of words while mind mapping.
This visual take on mind mapping allows me (or whoever else is looking at your work) to understand what you're trying to explain in a new way. This visual way of working can benefit you, if words aren't really your thing, OR if the person you're making the mind map for is very visual. Either way, it's a whole new way to express yourself!
**If you found yourself absent last Friday, you'll slowly be making up the Gates Assessment this week. Be ready!
This is the seventh year Mrs. DeWitz has taught Freshman. It is her eighth year at Thornton.
