Today we continued reading in our groups.
Students were given a storyboard to begin filling out to explain what's happening in the novel. It will be due at the end of the period tomorrow.
Today we began our final unit.
Students selected a book and classmates with which to read.
We will read everyday in class for two weeks, before beginning our class project.
Students who are absent should get their group novel from the library and catch up.
Periods 3 and 11: We heard the bullying debaters!
Then, we reflected (answering the questions in the picture).
Period 7/8: We viewed all the achievement gap prezis and evaluated them using the 3-2-1 method!
We're finally finished with our Bullying/Achievement Gap projects!

Periods 3 & 11: We are near completion on our debates/prezis on bullying issues. Tomorrow, prezi's are due. Next Monday, debates will begin.
Period 7/8: We continue our achievement gap prezis. They are due tomorrow for presentation next week.
Also, tomorrow the first book project is due. Can you believe we're 3.5 weeks into fourth quarter?!
Periods 3 & 11: We're still researching! So far, we have grades in for notes on Plague Year, the bullying articles supplied to you by me, and notes from the documentary. Tomorrow, you'll earn a grade for your online research. We'll be in the labs until Thursday completing prezis/debates
Period 7/8: Our big assignment is revealed! We're creating prezis with the information we've learned about the achievement gap. They're due Thursday.
Today we took the April Interim Assessment.
Next week, we'll see who earns fame and glory!
This week, we're conducting research on our topics in the library.
Today we formed groups/partnerships and broke down bully solutions (periods 3 and 11) and achievement gap factors (period 7/8) today.
We'll be be meeting in the library next week to research!
