Today we tackled some important reading skills: active reading.
The strategies associated with active reading allow the reading to gain greater depth of understanding, comprehension, and analysis of what is read.
We took notes on the six strategies and read a poem by Emily Dickinson to practice these strategies.
All were completed in class, except for 11th period. Only period 11 must finish for homework.
