Students completed a storyboard, while I read these chapters aloud.
In partners, students read chapter 2 and answer Socrative Student questions.
Today student's examined:
1) The Life Cycle
2) Postulated: The Great Rebirth and the Unmentionable Times (including what is described at the bottom of pg. 19)
3) Equality 7-2521's workday. Explain how his day goes and think about why they are considered Useless at 40 and Ancient at 45.
Returning to chapter 1, students are noting religious imagery found in the chapter and speculating on what the names for the different groups/places/events are.
In class, I read chapter 1 and students completed a visual representation of what was read.
Alas, it is our final unit of the year.
Students participated in an anticipation guide that addresses concepts that are present in our class novel.
We were in the lab working on the conflict analysis articles for the novel!
This is the ninth year Mrs. DeWitz has taught Freshman.
