We;re pushing through our novel!
Today we read pages 139-165. While reading, students were given two post-it notes to use to respond to various posters around the classroom.
The Violent Video Games essay was also collected, as it was due today.
Today we read pages 120-138 and completed a Venn Diagram comparing schools, School TM, and the current and future government. Please see the assignment below.
Remember, TOMORROW the Violent Video Games essay is due WITH a peer review sheet.
Today students conducted independent reading of the novel, Feed. We read pages 95-119 and completed the below worksheet.
Students listened to me read pages 75-94 to them. While listening/following along, students completed a storyboard worksheet. Many students took it home for homework.
Today was a catch up day, to ensure that all students are ready to read Feed tomorrow.
Today was the last day in class student's had to work on their violent video games essay.
It will be due TUESDAY, Nov. 26th. Students may need to spend time in the writing center to complete the essay. It is due WITH the peer review sheet, or the essay will not be accepted.
