I will read pages 1-25, while students create a visualization of what was read.
Students reviewed the article "How Much Is Too Much..." pertaining to the amount of time young people spend with their technologies and the internet.
Students reviewed the various reading assignments in their binders (that are already annotated) and using their favorite note taking strategy, took a collection of notes on the main features of those readings.
In preparation of our upcoming novel, students read the article "Thousands of Swedes..." as a discussion on the intrusion of microchips in our bodies.

Additionally, honors credit students were engaged in a discussion about their research writing for the quarter.
Remember, tomorrow the research writing article is due with annotations.
We reviewed for the assessment, moved to Monday.
Students read the article One Nation, Under Surveillance as an intro to a novel we will begin next week.
Student read, annotated, and wrote a reflection on the ways in which we are surveilled.
We are in the lab working on the media project. Students should be sharing google docs with me for the file that is due by Friday, end of day.
